Celebrate the 4th of July, Rockwall style! The best viewing areas are Harry Myers Park, Dobbs Elementary Tuttle Athletic Complex, and the RISD Admin Building. The parade will start at 11am, with Live Music featuring “The Rub” at 7:45pm.

City of Royse City

Royse City’s Celebrating Freedom will be occuring on Friday, June 29 at the RCHS Football Stadium.

There is no admission fee; food is available for purchase; and there will be activities for kids!

The stage will be in the parking area. So, bring chairs. Fireworks will be able to be viewed just fine from the event area.

Everything kicks off at 6 PM.

The schedule is as follows:

6:00pm to 7:00pm | Kids Activities – Food
6:00pm to 7:00pm | Danny Reichle Concert
7:00pm to 8:00pm | Stoney Larue Concert
8:15pm to 9:05pm | Big Gus Swampadelic Concert
9:25pm to 9:30pm | Prayer, Presentation of colors, Pledge, National Anthem

Fireworks begin at approximately 9:30 PM.

Please remember alcohol is not permitted on ISD property and please leave pets at home for this event.

City of Heath


For a patriotic hometown American experience, join the festivities at the City of Heath’s Annual Independence Day Parade on Wednesday, July 4.

Parade entry awards will be presented during a patriotic celebration immediately after the parade in Towne Center Park featuring a live barbershop quartet, recognition of our veterans and active military members, and free Popsicle and pie! (Blueberry, cherry and buttermilk, of course.)

Staging for the parade is at 8 a.m., judging and awards are at 8:30 a.m., and the parade begins at 9 a.m. at Amy Parks-Heath Elementary School at 330 Laurence Drive.

A GREAT fireworks show set to music and video, BBQ and food, giveaways, Steel City Pops, zip line, climbing wall and more. Free admission! (And a reasonable cost for food.) Bring family and friends, lawn chairs, blankets and bug spray, but please no pets, alcohol, outside food or fireworks. See you Sunday, July 1st, 6-10PM at 576 Sabine Creek Rd, Royse City, TX.
