The Aspasians Rockwall in Rockwall is a household name with locals, but this event boasts another great reason to visit Rockwall county. Since 1972, Rockwall has hosted a one of a kind marketplace showcasing hand-made items, vintage decor, jewelry, gifts, and fine art. Food vendors and a variety of booths make a visit to the marketplace a fun, family experience. While it began as a small fair, over the years the event has grown to host over two hundred unique vendors.

The Aspasians, a philanthropic women’s group, hosts the Aspasians Marketplace bi-annually. The Aspasians began as a way to raise money for scholarships, and it continues that tradition today. All proceeds from vendor booth rentals and water go directly to scholarships for local graduating seniors. The support enables the Aspasians to award $40,000 in scholarships each year to local high school students. In 2015, the Aspasians opened their scholarship program to include not only Rockwall High School and Rockwall-Heath High School, but they will also encompass one, at-large scholarship for a graduating senior within Rockwall County.

Make plans to visit Rockwall for the The Aspasians Marketplace, held September 14th from 9am-5pm at Wilkerson-Sanders Memorial Stadium in Rockwall.
