Most locals and visitors alike know Rockwall offers a variety of live music with great venues. In fact, it is one of our more unique attractions, with both Downtown Rockwall and Lake Ray Hubbard music scenes happening every week from May to September.

The Concert by the Lake Series at the Harbor is a visitors must during the summer season. The live, outdoor concerts are set upon the backdrop of Lake Ray Hubbard and presented by the Rockwall Parks and Recreation Department. The concerts always have a stellar line-up of live, tribute and variety bands. The concerts take place at the Harbor Amphitheater on beautiful Lake Ray Hubbard (2074 Summer Lee Drive, Rockwall, TX 75032). Concerts begin at 7:30 p.m. and guests are invited to bring blankets and chairs to enjoy the live-music experience.

The Downtown Rockwall San Jacinto Plaza Music Series is a sizzling way to spend your summer nights outdoors. Nestled in historic downtown Rockwall, the San Jacinto Plaza comes to life with live music Friday and Saturday evenings, May through September. Guests can listen to the good vibes from 6:30-9:00 PM. There are cafe style tables and chairs in addition to the built in wall seats that line the plaza. Bonus- guests can bring food, beverages, and their own chairs, or come early and enjoy one of Rockwall’s outstanding restaurants on the square.

And now, the City of Rockwall has more to boast about when it comes to live music. We are proud to announce that, thanks to our State Representative, Justin Holland, Rockwall is now the “Official Free Live Music Capital of North Texas.” The announcement was made by our State Representative on May 19, 2017 at the Founder’s Day Festival, hosted by the Rockwall Parks and Recreation Department which hosted a free, live concert by Cory Morrow and Pat Green. What better way to announce and celebrate the new title than at a great outdoor concert? If you are looking for a superb way to spend a Thursday, Friday, or Saturday evening, then check up our line-up of free, live music on our events page.
